I am a Turkish Citizen who lives in Turkey. A lot of people in Turkey believes that Gulen Cult has a hidden agenda. Turkey's transformation has been not only the impressive AKP political machine but also a shadowy Islamist sect led by the mysterious Fethullah Gülen; the sect often bills itself as a proponent of tolerance and dialogue but works toward purposes quite the opposite. Today, Gülen and his backers not only seek to influence government but also to become the government. AKP had divided Turkey in ethic, religious, and economic dimensions and now dividing it in cultural, ethical and social dimensions. The AKP has conquered the bureaucracy and changed Turkey's fundamental identity. Prior to the AKP's rise, Ankara oriented itself toward the United States and Europe. Anti-American, anti-Christian, and anti-Semitic sentiments have increased.
